Capsule filters
V&W Biotech serves variety of capsule filters including PES, PVDF and PP filters
Polyethersulfone (PES) filters are widely used in the biopharmaceutical processes. PES filters exhibit excellent chemical stability and high-temperature resistance, effectively filtering impurities such as microorganisms and particles, ensuring high purity of the product. V&W Biotech offers bag-type, disc-type, needle-type, and cartridge PES filters to meet diverse application requirements.
PVDF filters are made from hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane, featuring a high porosity, high flux, extremely low protein adsorption, and excellent chemical and thermal stability. In the biopharmaceutical processes, PVDF filters are widely used in various stages, including cell culture and terminal filtration. V&W Biotech offers bag-type, disc-type, needle-type, and cartridge PVDF filters to meet diverse application requirements.
PP filters are made from polypropylene (PP) material, utilizing polypropylene melt-blown fiber membrane. They exhibit excellent chemical stability and high-temperature resistance. PP combines low cost with high-efficiency filtration characteristics, featuring high flux, long life, and excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and chemical solvents. They find wide applications in pre-filtration in industries such as biopharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, food and beverages.
